CScontact Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how CScontact (“CScontact”, “we”, “us” or “Operator”) collects, uses, stores, and discloses personal information when you use our platform and related services (the “Service”). It also explains that information a user chooses to publish on a public page may be visible to anyone.

1. Information we collect

2. How we use information

We use information to provide and secure the Service; create, display, and maintain public pages at your direction; authenticate users; process subscriptions; provide support; prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents; maintain backups; analyze and improve the Service; send service messages and, where permitted, marketing communications; comply with law; and enforce our Terms.

Where required by applicable law, our legal bases may include performance of a contract, legitimate interests, consent, and compliance with legal obligations. Marketing messages include an opt-out option.

3. Public pages and user responsibility

Users control what they publish on their pages. A user is responsible for having the permissions and legal basis required to publish personal information about themselves or anyone else. CScontact provides the publishing tools and displays content at the user’s direction; it does not endorse or verify the user’s content, products, services, or external links.

If you see personal information or content that should not be public, contact us at hello@cscontact.com. We may restrict or remove content when appropriate or legally required.

4. How we share information

We do not currently sell personal information for monetary consideration. We may disclose information:

Information that you intentionally publish on a public page is disclosed to the public at your direction. External websites, including online stores such as Shopify, receive information according to their own policies when you visit or use them. We do not control their privacy practices.

5. International transfers

We and our service providers may process information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use an applicable legal transfer mechanism or other safeguards. The protections of this Policy apply regardless of where processing occurs.

6. Retention and deletion

We retain information while your account is active and afterward as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain security and backups, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and satisfy legal, tax, or regulatory obligations. Public-page content is retained until you delete it or your account is closed, subject to backups and legally required records.

You may request deletion by contacting hello@cscontact.com. Deletion may not remove copies already made by visitors, search engines, external websites, or backups.

7. Your rights and choices

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a portable copy of your personal information; withdraw consent where processing relies on consent; opt out of marketing; and complain to a data-protection authority. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Contact hello@cscontact.com to exercise your rights.

8. Cookies and analytics

We use necessary cookies and similar technologies for sessions, authentication, security, preferences, and operation. Where enabled, analytics and performance tools may collect usage and device information. You can control cookies through your browser, although disabling necessary cookies may affect the Service. Review the policies of Cloudflare, Google, analytics providers, and other tools enabled on the Service.

9. Security and incidents

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including access controls and secure storage. No transmission or storage system is completely secure. If a security incident occurs, we will investigate it, take reasonable steps to mitigate its effects, cooperate with applicable authorities, and provide notices when required by applicable law. Nothing in this Policy waives non-waivable legal obligations.

We may temporarily restrict accounts, public pages, or features while investigating a security or privacy incident. Third-party services may have separate security and privacy practices, and we are not responsible for practices outside our control.

10. Children

The Service is intended only for people who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly permit anyone under 18 to create an account. If you believe a person under 18 has provided information or created a public page, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in the Service, our practices, or legal requirements. We will post the revised Policy and update the date below. Where required, we will provide additional notice or request consent. The current version applies from its stated effective or update date.
